Today, 29th, public servants in whole Japan got a summer bonus. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the average amount of the bonus in general administrative post except for management positions was about 624,000 yen (average age of 34.7) around 900 yen UP from last summer. And the average of the bonus of public servants in local areas was around 597,000 yen (average age of 36.5) UP around 100 yen. Japan media reported it today.
General Japanese citizens' query for them: Why can public servants get the bonus that even increased under the critical financial condition of government of Japan and the unreasonable amount of retirement reward?
This question is getting stronger and general Japanese citizens are furious over it because citizens' burdens such as tax or insurance are skyrocketing.
A couple days ago, it was announced that the debt of Japan marked the worst number: 834,000,000,000,000 yen at the end of 2006. That number means that each citizen is given the debt, 6,530,000 yen.
I think that if Mr. Michael Moore has difficulty finding good topics, he should come to Japan anytime. Many awful truths are waiting for him.

hello Shogo
Where did the money come from? Was it borrowed from americans banks, europeen banks, chinese banks or Saudi's banks? 25% of the massive american debt was borrowed from japanese banks. It seems that every country is indebt from other countries in circular debts. Country A borrowed from country B that borrowed from country C that borrowed from country A... They could stop this stupid game but the bankers want to collect the interest$ they suck up from those "circular debts".
It reminds me of the end of the first world war where the french wanted german economy to be permanently wounded to avoid another futur military conflict, and thus imposed them "war reparation" payments. At first (in the 1920's) Germany just printed more money and the inflation destroyed their currency, but then they changed for a new currency (with limited supply to keep it stable) and just borrowed money from american banks. The borrowed money was used to pay "war reparations" and they just paid the interests to the bankers, until Hilter came to power and nullified all of that. The bankers were not "hurt" by the non payment because germany had paid so much interests.
An important part of the J debt was created in the 90's for construction projects, at least you've got something concrete you can touch, like a big international airport in a small city or a big terminal train station for a remote village of only 500 citizens. Since 2001, the american debt is expending more than ever for the war, they are borrowing more that two Billion $US per DAY. They are graduelly getting closer to the three Billion $US per DAY.
Not counting the 363 tons of $100 bills shipped to Baghdad two years ago:

The debt is public, but the ma$$ive profits are private, if the american public were to see this movie they would explode because the company of Dick Cheney (halliburton) is getting criminally rich:

The borrowed money is wasted and the only concrete contructions are in Iraq... if they do not get bombarded and destroyed.
The american public is being robbed massively!! Bankers are getting richer.

Hi Marc. How's it going? Thanks a lot for your interesting comment as usual.
I think that Japan's money came from the government bond. This means, yes, that the government has been printing money a lot and accumulating the debt as a result.
Therefore, S&P evaluated the Japan's bond terribly low. The value was less than one of the developing countries.
And second, the money was picked up from general citizens. As a result, the amount of savings in Japanese citizens has been tumbling year by year. Tax is going higher too.
The detail of the financial condition must be put in underground. Nobody knows the truth. However, it seems that lots of money has been going to America as you know.
Japan may have no choice as a worker country. Any subordinate cannot stop the violent boss.
Have a nice day,
Shogo
